You need to research what characters and monsters look like, look up the events of each episode, then watch it… watch it again… and maybe by the third time around, it actually makes sense. To put it into perspective: First Watch: “This sounds kinda cool… but WTF is going on?” Second Watch: “Ahh okay, that’s the scene where that monster does that thing from the wiki…” (Also: lots of pausing, rewinding, and checking your notes.)
