Cerberus Review – Hercules: The Legendary Journeys (Toy Biz)
One of the things I love most about collecting fantasy figures is that there really is no expiration date on a good monster. Human action figures tend to age with the fashions and the franchises they come from, but monsters have a funny way of sticking around. A well-designed dragon from the 1980s can still look perfectly at home standing beside a dragon released last week. A cyclops, a griffin, a minotaur, or a hellhound doesn't suddenly become obsolete just because a newer version comes along. They all have their own interpretation, and if you're anything like me, you don't replace one Cerberus with another. You simply end up owning a whole pack of them. That is exactly how this Toy Biz Cerberus found his way into my collection. I was never particularly attached to Hercules: The Legendary Journeys.
