Loong the Dragon Girl (Little Green Dragon)

I don’t usually go for waifu figures.

No shade to those who do—collect what makes you happy—but for me, a figure has to belong in my collection. If she won’t fit with my fantasy shelf, my mythic displays, or my overall aesthetic, I don’t care how cute, how naked, or how Instagram-ready she is.

Image: Three detailed action figures posed together in a diorama scene. The figure in the back is dressed in a long red robe and holding a bow, standing as if preparing to shoot an arrow. The middle figure has an elaborate costume with teal and gold accents, ornate details, and a dramatic headpiece with red and gold elements. The third figure in front wears a white and black outfit with boots, holding a rope lasso. The backdrop includes a stylized scenic painting with mountains and autumn-colored trees and a decorative folding screen, giving an oriental fantasy theme to the scene. Bright lights illuminate the setup, and parts of the diorama include small furniture props. The base is a flat, gray surface.

That’s why Loong the Dragon Girl from Cang Toys’ Twelve’s War series caught me off guard—in the best way possible.

Image: Anime-style figure box on a carpeted floor. The box features artwork and images of a highly detailed female character with elaborate, colorful accessories and a dramatic pose, wearing a decorative outfit with long boots and holding a long staff or spear with a fiery effect. There are images of interchangeable face plates, hands, and other accessories above her. The box has mostly teal green colors with a bordered design.

Like Snail Shell’s Succubus Lustia, Loong manages to do the rare thing: she’s undeniably sexy and she fits beautifully into a fantasy lineup. Yes, she leans more anime than something like Mythic Legions—but let’s be real: if Mythic Legions can give us skeletons built like powerlifters, they can absolutely coexist with a busty anime dragon chick wielding a flaming sword and fan.

Image: Anime-style figurines arranged in a display. In the foreground, there is a figure of a female character with white hair, horns, and an elaborate outfit in dark and red tones, holding a staff. Behind her is another female figure in a green and black costume wielding a flame-like effect. The scene is detailed with accessories: a wooden-like fence, a table, a teal-green decorative fan, and traditional-style detailing on the base. The background features a printed illustration resembling a mountainous landscape with red and green foliage. The display sits on a white board framed by green, red, and yellow edges. Lighting in the scene suggests it was photographed indoors.

[

]

And speaking of busty…

holy crap.

Image: This image provides a clear view of the figure’s exaggerated anime-style body shape. The character is designed with a highly accentuated hourglass figure: a very small waist, a prominent bust with deep cleavage, and shapely hips. The pose, with arms raised, further emphasizes the fullness of the chest and the slimness of the waist. The thighs and legs are mostly out of frame, but the overall design maintains a consistent, curvy silhouette. The detailing on the costume draws further attention to the bust and waist, reinforcing the stylized, fantasy-inspired look that is typical in many collectable anime figures.

[

]

This is easily the most exaggerated, erotic proportion I’ve ever seen on a 1/12-scale action figure. I’m not trying to be crude here—but if you scaled her up to human size and made her soft? Yeah. I’d be in trouble. Okay, fine—I’d probably be in trouble with most heroines if that were the case, but the point stands: Loong’s design is unapologetically sensual. Looking at her, I finally understand why waifu collectors do what they do.

Image: The figurine depicts a stylized female character with an exaggerated, slim hourglass body shape. She has a narrow waist, pronounced hips, and a full bust, which is accentuated by the deep neckline of her outfit. Her arms are slender, and her legs, though not fully visible in this close-up, also appear proportionately long and thin. The overall body type is designed to be idealized and elegant, fitting the aesthetic often found in anime or fantasy character designs. This look emphasizes curves and a delicate stature, contributing to a visually striking and fantastical appearance.

[

]

That said, this isn’t just eye candy. Not even close.

Image: This close-up emphasizes the figurine’s highly stylized hourglass figure. The body features a very small, cinched waist, wide hips, and large, prominent breasts which are further accentuated by the revealing, low-cut attire. The pose brings out the curvaceous lines, giving her torso a dramatic, S-like contour. Her arms are slim and delicate, enhancing the impression of elegance and femininity commonly seen in anime figures. The skin is smooth, with joints at the elbows and shoulders clearly articulated, revealing the figure’s posability. Overall, the character’s body type is idealized and exaggerated, with a focus on curvy, feminine proportions designed to draw the viewer’s eye.

A Zodiac Coincidence I Couldn’t Ignore 🐉

I ordered Loong in 2025—the Year of the Dragon, which already made her a no-brainer. But then there’s the bigger connection: Twelve’s War is a series built around Eastern and Western zodiac symbolism, astrologers, and mythic conflict.

Some of you already know this, but my current traveling art series Zodiac Crossroads—which has shown across Canada and even in Korea—is also about exactly that same intersection of cultures and astrology. Between that, my lifelong soft spot for Chinese-themed figures, and Loong’s mythic identity, there was no way she wasn’t coming home with me.

Honestly? Even if she wasn’t this curvy, this well-accessorized, or this striking—I still would’ve bought her on theme alone.

Image: The figure presents a highly stylized, idealized anime-style body with dramatic curves—an extremely narrow waist, prominent bust, and full hips, all accentuated by the dynamic pose with both arms raised.

Her face matches the fantasy anime aesthetic with large, expressive eyes that have intricate red and black detailing, giving her an intense but graceful look. Her lips are small and subtly colored, and her expression appears calm and slightly alluring.

Her hair is long, straight, and jet black, flowing downward and ending in thick points. The front of her hair is styled with prominent bangs, while decorative elements such as red flame-like horns, gold accessories, and turquoise highlights add to her exotic and fantasy-inspired appearance. The hair accessories and ornamentation frame her face, giving her an elegant and commanding presence alongside her dramatic body shape.

Accessories That Put Big Names to Shame

Image: A set of interchangeable faceplates and hairpieces for an anime-style action figure, displayed on a flat surface. There are four different faceplates, each with distinct facial expressions:

From top to bottom:
- The first shows a gentle, closed-eyes smiling expression.
- The second features a side-glancing, smirking or mischievous expression with open eyes.
- The third has eyes slightly closed and small blush marks, creating a feeling of shyness or embarrassment.
- The fourth face shows a calm, straightforward look with a neutral mouth.

Each face has large, stylized red eyes with detailed highlights and fine makeup lines, maintaining an intense yet elegant anime aesthetic. To the side of the faces, there are two hairpieces: one is a simple, black piece for the front hair, while the other is more elaborate, featuring black hair with attached accessories, including red and gold flame-like ornaments and turquoise details. These pieces are designed to be swapped onto the figure for a variety of looks and emotional expressions.

For a figure hovering between $72–$100 USD, Loong is an absurdly good value—especially compared to other figures in the same price range (looking at you, Romankey Algar).

Image: This image features two detailed collectible figures set within a diorama-style display. The primary figure in the foreground is an anime-style female character with an exaggerated, curvy body, wearing a black and turquoise outfit with gold accents. She is posed dramatically in midair, holding a sword with a large, vibrant flame effect at the end. Her long black hair is accessorized with striking red and gold ornaments.

Next to her, positioned above and behind, is a dragon-like creature that has a menacing, armored look with spiky, textured details and a long tail. Its mouth is open, and it has a large, translucent flame effect emerging forward.

In the background, the display is decorated with Chinese-inspired elements: a turquoise fan with gold and black detailing, small wooden tables, and a decorative wooden fence. The backdrop showcases a colorful, fantasy-style landscape with vivid oranges, reds, and greens, all adding to the scene’s dramatic, action-focused atmosphere.

She comes with:

Multiple facial expressions

Tons of hands

Image: A selection of interchangeable hands for an action figure, displayed on a plain surface. There are a total of seven hand pieces in the image. Five of them are flesh-toned with green cuffs, each in a different pose: an open palm, a closed fist, a pointing finger, a “peace” or two-finger gesture, and a loose gripping hand. Two of the hands are entirely green, one open and one closed fist, likely to represent a gloved or transformed state for the figure. These accessories allow for a wide range of expressive poses and customization for the character model.

[

]

A flaming sword with effect parts

Image: Two accessory pieces for a figure, photographed on a surface with blueish lighting. The top item is a dramatic flame effect part, made of transparent plastic that transitions from red at the base to orange and then yellow at the tip, giving the impression of intense fire. The bottom item is a sword with a black handle featuring a crisscross gold pattern and a matching black-and-gold patterned blade.

[

]

A fan that combines with the sword

Image: A stylized accessory shaped like a large, ornate fan. The fan is primarily turquoise with gold and dark blue decorative accents, including intricate patterns along the inner edge. The fan is segmented into wide, geometric panels, giving it a sturdy, almost weapon-like appearance. There are sculpted gold designs near the base and a sharp black blade-like element integrating into the design, suggesting this is not just a decorative piece but possibly a weapon for an action figure. The overall look is elegant and dramatic, fitting a fantasy or oriental-inspired theme.

[

]

A dragon-transformed arm

Image: Two interchangeable arm pieces for an action figure are shown on a surface with blue lighting. The upper arm is detailed and much darker, featuring intricate armor-like elements, turquoise spiked decorations, and sculpted shapes that suggest a transformed or powered-up state. The lower arm is more natural in color, with a flesh-toned hand, a sleeve textured to resemble teal dragon or fish scales, and a red bracelet-like band around the wrist. Both pieces appear to belong to the same character, offering a dramatic contrast between a normal arm and an armored or supernatural version for greater posing or storytelling variety.

[

]

A flexible wired tail

Image: Anime-style action figure posed in a detailed diorama. The figure appears to be a female character with long dark hair tied in a ponytail, decorated with red horns, and wearing a revealing fantasy outfit with teal and gold accents. A long, stylized teal tail with a tuft at the end extends from her lower back, giving her an animalistic or mythical look. She is holding a long, elegant smoking pipe with gold and red details.

A massive display base that stores accessories

Image: Miniature diorama scene with a strong blue and purple lighting effect. In the center, there is a small, ornate brown table and a matching wooden screen featuring geometric cut-out designs. The floor is black with gold patterns, including a large circular emblem decorated with swirling waves and cloud motifs. To the right, there is part of a large turquoise parasol and a red curved element, which could be part of another prop or furniture.

An articulated Chinese folding screen

Image: Two rectangular plastic pieces placed side by side on a flat, white surface. Both pieces are a medium brown color and have a decorative, geometric cut-out pattern that resembles traditional Asian wooden lattice screens. Each piece has small hinge-like connectors on one edge, suggesting that they can be attached to other similar pieces or folded.

A sword/fan stand

A stool

Yes—a stool.

Remember how everyone lost their minds when Four Horsemen included a stool with Figura Obscura Ganesha? Well, Loong costs only slightly more, has a much bigger… tail, and includes all of that plus an integrated diorama setup. That’s wild.

Now, fair warning: assembling the transparent stand requires patience. Like… slow breathing, steady hands, and maybe a break halfway through. My hands were legitimately cramping by the end.

Image: Two action figures posed in a diorama scene. The background features a colorful painted landscape with mountains and trees, bordered by a red frame and white grid board.

The main female action figure is in mid-air, held up by a transparent stand. She has long dark hair with red horns, a revealing black and teal fantasy outfit, gold accessories, and a long teal tail. She holds a smoking pipe, which now has a dramatic effect attached—red and orange translucent flames swirling from its end.

Facing her is a second action figure that has a fantasy monster or armored warrior appearance. This figure is blue and translucent with ice-like textures, resembling a demon or dragon in humanoid form. It is equipped with a sword and shield, held in a dynamic battle pose. The base includes an ornate turquoise parasol, wooden screen, small side table, and a black and gold patterned floor, enhancing the fantasy setting. Stands support both figures, making them appear to be in action.

The Not-So-Perfect Bits (Because Honesty Matters)

As much as I love her, Loong isn’t flawless.

Image: Close-up of an anime-style female action figure posed in a diorama setting. She has long black hair with red and gold ornamented horns, red eyes, and is dressed in a revealing black and teal fantasy outfit with gold accents. A long teal, animal-like tail with a tuft extends from her lower back. Her right arm is raised, and her hand is making a gesture with two fingers pointed up, resembling a spell-casting or martial arts pose. Her face is detailed with pink lips and expressive features.

[

]

Her wrist and arm joints are too loose, especially when handling heavier weapons—most reviewers are right about that

Some of the diorama pieces and weapons feel a little too toy-like in texture

Image: Anime-style female action figure posed in a detailed diorama. She has long black hair with red and gold horns, red eyes, and is dressed in a revealing teal, black, and gold fantasy outfit with a long teal tail. In this pose, her right arm and hand have been swapped out for a dark, armored arm with green claws and translucent, blue accents. There’s a large, dramatic flame effect piece attached to the right side of her face, featuring swirling red and gold flames.

She is posed with her right arm extended, as if demonstrating or activating a power.

[

]

The dangly hip decorations and hair details are delicate—handle with care

The sword feels a bit brittle sliding in and out of the sheath

Image: Anime-style female action figure in a dynamic battle pose, set in a detailed diorama. She has long black hair with red and gold horns, red eyes, and an elaborate, form-fitting teal, black, and gold outfit. Her right arm is an alternate, dark armored limb with clawed fingers, holding a long sword with a yellow-checkered blade and a green handle. The left hand is holding a large black and gold ornate weapon with attached turquoise fan elements. There is a striking flame effect in red and gold attached to the right side of her face, giving a magical or powered-up appearance.

[

]

The stool and sword stand don’t attach to the base, so they shift or fall (I used twisty wires… but I shouldn’t have to)

Still, these are hobby-level issues—nothing a seasoned collector hasn’t dealt with before.

Image: Anime-style female action figure posed in a highly dynamic and acrobatic stance within a detailed diorama setting. She has long black hair with red and gold horns, wears a revealing teal, black, and gold outfit, and has teal tassel decorations. Her large teal tail extends outward with a tuft at the end, adding to her movement.

Her arms are outstretched dramatically, and her legs are wide apart in a martial arts or dance-like pose. The expression on her face is lively and focused, and her hands are positioned as if she’s ready to perform a choreographed move or leap into action.

Behind her, there is a decorative brown lattice screen and a large turquoise parasol with black and gold accents, which enhances the fantasy atmosphere. The background is a colorful, painted landscape featuring mountains and foliage. Diagonal white studio lights and part of the diorama floor and furniture are visible, making the setup look theatrical and well-lit.

Final Thoughts

This was my first-ever Cang Toys figure, and honestly? What an introduction.

Image: Anime-style female action figure in a dramatic mid-air pose, supported by a clear stand in a detailed diorama. She features long black hair with red and gold horns, red eyes, and a revealing fantasy-themed outfit in teal, black, and gold, accented by teal tassel details and a long, teal, tufted tail. Her right arm is transformed into an armored, black and green claw, and she holds a weapon with a fiery, translucent red-and-orange effect emerging from it. An ornate flame effect also decorates the right side of her face, enhancing her magical appearance.

Behind her, a large turquoise parasol with black and gold patterns is open, contributing to the dynamic action scene. Additional features include a brown decorative panel, a small intricately designed table, and a fantasy-themed black-and-gold diorama base. The background consists of a vibrant, painted landscape with mountains, green foliage, and reddish trees. A circular white studio light is visible, providing bright illumination and casting reflected highlights on the figure and scene.

Between her deep ties to Chinese culture, zodiac mythology, and fantasy aesthetics, Loong already had my interest. The fact that she turned out to be this curvy, this expressive, this well-accessorized, and this display-friendly was a very pleasant surprise.

Image: Two detailed anime-style figurines in a miniature diorama.

In the foreground, there is a female figure dressed in vibrant blue clothing with yellow star accents, holding a large ornate sword. She has short black hair and a confident pose, standing on one leg with an arm raised. Her clothes are reminiscent of traditional Chinese attire with modern fantasy elements.

Behind her stands a taller figure in a more elaborate costume, featuring teal stockings, a black and gold dress with intricate designs, and a dramatic red and gold headpiece with flowing decorations. She holds a large fan and has one leg lifted in a poised stance, her expression serene and confident.

[

]

She’s bold. She’s flawed. She’s sexy. She’s mythic.

And she absolutely earns her place on my shelf.

Image: Anime-style and comic-inspired figurines arranged in a diorama. The foreground features a figure resembling Loki from Marvel comics or movies, wearing an elaborate green and gold outfit with a long yellow cape, and a large horned helmet. Loki’s arms are spread in a dramatic gesture.

Behind Loki stands a female character in an elegant teal and gold outfit, with a large decorative fan at her back and red and orange flame details in her hair. She stands on a raised platform with a dark base.

The backdrop is a vibrant, painted landscape scene with mountains, green foliage, and red trees, bordered by a whiteboard with a colorful frame. A brown decorative screen is in the middle ground positioned between the two figures, adding to the setting’s ornate, fantasy atmosphere. The setup is brightly lit, creating clear shadows and highlights on the figures.

If Cang Toys keeps this energy going for the rest of the Twelve’s War line, I’ll be watching closely.
